What dreams are made of.

Found this while perusing the 1880 Langeley S. F. Business Directory.

A couple of interesting brands listed that I'm not acquainted with.

Same goes for names and partnerships. The unknowns were probably paper label only, but think of the possibilities~

Hope springs eternal.

  1. There is that STAR OF THE UNION by Wolters Bros. I would like to see what that looks like. The T M star bottle may be part of that mystery... CAL49er MAX

  2. For some reason I do believe the TM star square is that brand. It is definitely western, of the correct time period. The square dates to about 1870 which is correct for this brand's beginning. In Wilson's book there is a later paper labeled example of the brand. I still believe the "TM" is for "trade mark". All speculation, but it just makes sense to me. Dale
