  1. Is that Renz a SoCal find? Gotta be a rarity down there.

  4. Geezus, Sacramento is so good. It must have been bottle digging paradise in the 1960s.

  5. One I dug? Looks familiar that's why I axed.

Yes, Victoria, it certainly was, and still is to a certain degree. These days it's all about permissions; the gravy is cleaned up.

  6. No Mike, not one of yours. It was dug by the guys from the Bay Area on a Sacto project about 4 yrs ago. Killer Renz, probably best one found up there

  7. Nice Renz, but not even close the best one dug up thisaway. More than one of those came from that site, that's all I can say. There are some sleepers in local collections that won't see the light of day any time soon. I offed all of mine to various collectors up and down the state, so now it's time to chunk out another few, if that's even possible these days. Permissions are getting more and more of a challenge thanks to TV productions like "American Pickers" and "Treasure Hunters". Just about everyone has seen those shows and believes that their yards are holding serious bucks. The vast majority of the pits are full of nothing worth keeping, but it's the scant few that kick out the good'uns that keep us doing what we do.
