Very nice assortment of examples of the Dr Place' s Cundurango Bitters. An example is shown in the 1874 exhibition of the San Francisco Glass Works display.
Cool colors, but Cunderango's have never appealed to me. They're kind of a boring square with an inferior top in comparison to other western squares. I'm glad some people enjoy them, just not my thing.
I am glad that some may not be interested in the Cundurango.Fewer players to compete with when purchasing one :) To me they represent nice early western blown glass...add the super colors they come in, and the Chesley history, these are fantastic pieces of western glass. SOMEONE must like them too as the prices are steadily increasing. Just try to find one in any color available with no damage. Pretty tough. Nice run! Dale M.
