This show continues to amaze with great quality glass and walk ins from the public. Our free appraisal and silent auctions are a tradition, and at times we were over an hour backed up with people waiting for their "treasures" to be appraised and sold. The standout items which I recall were a mint puce large Rosenbaum's Bitters, green large letter Renz's Herb Bitters, a San Francisco Glass Works half gallon wax sealer jar, a Fleckenstein Mayer Portland amber flask, several incredible insulators including colored California Helmets, an Owl Drug collection including the rarest colored Owl's, a Nevada bottle collection with extreme rarities, Portland whiskey fifths, common bitters, some great sodas, and a lot of misc. stuff. The show also had some great glass brought in by dealers that was as high of quality as you will likely ever see at a bottle show. The standout for me was a super light pea green Lacour's with heavy whittle effect and paper thin glass. it was mint. The post show get together at my home was a blast with some great fellowship among collectors. if you missed the Canyonville show this year, make it a point to attend in 2013! Dale M.
