I'd imagine many of you veterans have similar photos of your glory days. Somehow, I never seem to have my camera for the epic holes. The most stacked whiskey hole I ever dug produced 127 embossed Western 5ths. There has also been a hand full of other digs in my stars that produced in the 10-30 range of 5ths. Chasing the high with digs like that have certainly helped keep me going all these years, they do exsist. That's a great picture!
www.oldwestbottles.comAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6842291092692051858.post-8401656161908379412011-07-20T09:12:26.105-07:002011-07-20T09:12:26.105-07:00Classic photo! A big ol' bomber of a pit, and chock full!

Reminds me of the good old days, down in the Bay Area back in the early 70's, when we thought that this kind of dig was the norm. Wished I could remember where I tucked away those rose tinted glasses.

Patience and perseverance. The two P's that keep me pointed in the right direction. I just know that there's another bomber waiting to be dug on the next block...

Thanks for sharing!Brucehttp://www.westernwhiskeytooltopgazette.com/noreply@blogger.com
